Doug Shepherd
Principal
Doug Shepherd has been involved in Professional and Amateur sports his entire life. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and former Assistant Captain of the RPI Men’s Hockey Team, Doug enjoyed a productive career at the Junior A, NCAA Division I and Professional levels. He was named an NCAA Academic All American at RPI, played in multiple ECAC Championship tournaments and enjoyed minor professional hockey across North America and Europe.
Following his playing days, Doug worked in player development roles for the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets and the UPEI Men’s Program and also scouted for the AHL’s Manitoba Moose. Since 2015, he has successfully negotiated millions of dollars’ worth of contracts as an NHLPA Certified Player Agent with Achieve Sports Management.
Over the past 25 years, Doug has placed hundreds of student athletes in some of the top Prep Schools and Colleges in the United States and Canada.
Amy Shepherd
Operations Manager
Amy Shepherd brings more than 20 years of experience in sports administration, healthcare, and public education. She spent eight years serving as Operations Manager for the Andrews Hockey Growth Programs in Prince Edward Island, Canada — widely recognized as the largest single-location summer hockey school in the world. In that role, Amy managed a broad range of operational and administrative functions, including athlete communications, registration, travel coordination, and logistics for players and families from around the globe.
Following her time with Andrews Hockey, Amy played an instrumental role in supporting the growth of her husband’s business as an NHLPA-certified player agent. She was deeply involved in client relations, travel coordination, accounts receivable, and the day-to-day operational management of the business, helping establish and maintain strong relationships with players, families, and industry partners.
In addition to her sports management background, Amy has held leadership and support roles within both healthcare and public service. She worked within the Loudoun County Public School system as a Nurse’s Assistant and also served as a Job Facilitator for the Province of Prince Edward Island, assisting individuals with employment placement and workforce development.
